Once the appointment request has been made, your contact information will be sent to the professional staff at PUSH IV in Las Vegas. PUSH IV will then coordinate with you to schedule your appointment time, offering/confirming your choice to have your IV in your room/hotel or to have your IV at their conveniently located clinic, located right off the mid strip (traffic dependent, but usually no more than a 5-7 min ride from most of the strip hotels). On the date you’ve selected, a registered nurse (RN) will arrange to meet you in the hotel lobby. Once cleared by hotel security, the nurse will then proceed to your room where the RN will take a set of vital signs, help you complete the Nevada mandated medical intake forms, and arrange for a telemedicine conference with their physician or physician assistant. As long as your health status isn’t an issue, the MD/PA will clear you for the IV you’ve selected. The RN will then place the IV and run the IV solution.
Yes, for two reasons. In the state of Nevada, IVs are considered a medical procedure requiring an initial set of vital signs, a review of your past medical history, completing an on-site, face to face medical interview and placing and running your IV. The medical information you are required to provide helps us choose the right IV for you.
No, but we can if you allow the release of your information to a third party of your choosing. We will require your signature authorizing us to release your information.

There is a “pinch” when the IV catheter is placed. This sensation is very brief and should resolve in a few seconds at most. The IV itself shouldn’t be painful at all. If desired, a topical anesthetic can be applied which can lessen the sensation a bit. It may require an additional 10 minutes of time if used.
Yes, under most circumstances. Again, please let the professional staff at PUSH IV know of any allergies, chance of pregnancy, or medical conditions that might cause a problem with any component of the IV. Generally, all IVs start with normal saline (sterile “salt water”). To these we can add B vitamins, C vitamin, B12, glutathione, magnesium, and zinc. If we are going to have a problem, it will be with the medications that we add to control nausea (Zofran), pain (Toradol), or stomach pain (Pepcid). Most individuals are cleared for treatment, but there are a few exceptions. Minors and people over the age of 65 are up to the discretion of the on-call physician or physician’s assistant. Those who are pregnant, or breastfeeding are still eligible, but some medications and vitamins may be off-limits.
The IV formulations we’re offering not only hydrate, but they also help restore the vitamins and nutrients that help get the alcohol and alcohol breakdown products out of your system. We also have medicines for the hangover symptoms of nausea, stomach upset and headaches.

While in Las Vegas, it is likely that you’ll enjoy a cocktail or two, and you might also spend an evening at the club or an afternoon at the pool. The effects of the heat and dry desert environment, the dehydrating effects of alcohol, and typically an inadequate amount of water consumption all combine to produce a worsened hangover. Our IVs can help you make all your events while feeling your best! Take
our advice, plan ahead, and pre-purchase your IV when you need it! Avoid a possible trip to the emergency room where a similar IV can cost upwards of 4 hours of waiting time and $3000 or more.
A licensed medical professional will insert a small tube into your vein. The tube is attached to a bag containing the saline (basically salt water), as well as any other additives included in your package. Your formula will be pushed directly to your bloodstream for total bio-availability. This means you reap the full benefits of every vitamin and/or medication present in your IV bag almost immediately. IVs also replace lost fluids and electrolytes quickly and efficiently. Intravenous delivery is a fast way to rehydrate and enjoy the effects of the nutrients included in our formulas.
For groups of 2-4 people the entire session can take up to 60-90 minutes, but may be longer for larger groups. While the IV is running, you will be able to chat to your friends, use your phone, or watch TV for entertainment.

Yes, under most circumstances. A recovery IV is an established medical procedure which is why it’s necessary to review your medical history and have you speak with a doctor to make sure you are cleared to have the IV. All staff are trained medical professionals and licensed to administer the IV in the location you receive your services.
Receiving an IV can be slightly different for each individual. However, it usually takes between 25 and 45 minutes for someone to finish their treatment. All in all, you should plan on taking about an hour out of your day for IV hydration therapy. Fortunately, it’s a pretty stress-free procedure. You’ll remain seated and relatively still, where you can carry on a conversation, watch TV, scroll through your phone, etc.
Our booking process is simple – select the preferred time and date for your session and a member of the clinic will reach out to confirm the details. Depending on your choice, a nurse will meet you directly in your hotel or you can come to a centrally located clinic. They will go through any necessary forms with you as well as do a quick check of your vitals, and after consult with a physician you’re ready to lay back and relax while the IV rejuvenates your body!
Typically, yes, you will have symptomatic relief very quickly during or after the IV. Sometimes, however, you may be further behind on your fluid intake than you thought. Most people report feeling nothing more than a pinch. We understand that some people get nervous around needles, and some people have a lower tolerance for pain. Please remember that everyone on our medical team is prepared to address any concerns you have. It’s also helpful to remember that they are experienced professionals who will make insertion as fast and painless as possible.
You’re free to discuss the safety and efficacy of IV hydration therapy treatments with your doctor. Bare in mind that this treatment is completely elective and going through with it is entirely up to you. There is a physician or nurse practitioner on-call that will approve the treatment, as well as make recommendations based on his assessment. Just as with any doctor, it’s vital that you provide accurate and complete information.

The “liquid IV” or “oral IV hydration” refer to salt and sugar solutions that may also contain various vitamins and minerals. These are drinks-think Gatorade and the like. This method of fluid delivery and its uptake by the body is significantly slower than with an IV. An IV is a minimally invasive way of delivering the needed saline, vitamins, minerals and medications directly into the bloodstream via a small tube or catheter directly into the vein. The benefits of the fluid and vitamins, medications and minerals in your IV formulation are available to your body almost immediately.
